The stem (1) has a femoral neck forming portion (2) provided with a femoral head and an elongated medullary part (3) inserted into medullary cavity of a femur. The medullary part comprises a distal diaphysis part and a proximal metaphyseal part (5). The medullary part and the femoral neck forming portion are connected by an interface zone (6). The metaphyseal part comprises triangle-shaped grooves (18) that comprise a long side (19) and a vertex (20). The vertex is oriented towards a free end of the diaphysis part, where ends of the long side exhibit rounded shape.Tige fémorale (1) pour prothèse de hanche comportant une partie formant un col fémoral (2) prothétique destinée à faire saillie d'un fémur et à être équipée d'une tête fémorale, et une partie médullaire (3) de forme allongée destinée à être introduite dans la cavité médullaire du fémur.
