Described is a method of producing a storage stable autologous compositioncomprisingregenerative growth factors and cytokines obtained from platelets. The methodcomprises thesteps of collecting blood from a mammal； delivering the blood to a receptacle；centrifuging theblood to separate a platelet rich plasma component from the blood； collectingthe platelet richplasma component； passing the platelet rich plasma component through a smallpore filter toproduce the storage stable autologous composition comprising regenerativegrowth factors andcytokines derived from platelets； and collecting the storage stable autologouscomposition. Thestorage stable autologous composition retains regenerative biological activityfor up to at leastnine months when stored in a frozen state. Also described is a storage stableautologouscomposition comprising regenerative growth factors and cytokines obtained fromplateletsproduced by the method as described.
