PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hairdye composition which hardly shows color loss caused by washing the hair after dyeing, a method of dyeing the hair using the hairdye and a method of preventing color loss from the dyed hair.SOLUTION: The hairdye includes components (A)-(C) below. The method of dyeing the hair includes applying the hairdye to the hair, letting it stand for 1-60 minutes, and washing it away. The method of preventing color loss from the dyed hair includes applying a composition containing the component (A) to the hair during the hairdyeing or after the hairdyeing. (A) Astaxanthine or its derivatives. (B) An oxidizer.
