PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for reducing the number of times of changing (exchanging) tools during use of a gripping tool, compared with the use of a separate gripping tool and measuring tool.SOLUTION: A gripping tool 20 includes a resiliently deformable gripping tool body 21 formed into a bifurcated shape and having a pair of gripping portions 24 at the ends, and the gripping tool grips an object to be gripped by being operated so that an external force is applied to resiliently deform the gripping tool body 21 in a direction in which the pair of gripping portions 24 approaches each other, and is used for ophthalmic surgery.
