The present invention provides a long chain fatty acid (LCFA)-like albumin-binding probe/ligand containing no hydrolysable bond and having an enhanced associating affinity with human serum albumin, which upon conjugation with an amino- or mercapto-containing short-lived drug and administration of the conjugate, significantly prolongs the life time of said drug without substantially interfering with its pharmacological activity. The invention further provides conjugates of said probe with amino- or mercapto-containing drugs, as well as pharmaceutical compositions and uses thereof.La présente invention concerne une sonde de liaison à l'albumine de type acide gras à longue chaîne (LCFA)/ligand ne contenant pas de liaison hydrolysable et ayant une affinité d'association augmentée avec l'albumine sérique humaine, qui lors de la conjugaison avec un médicament de courte durée de vie contenant un groupe amino ou mercapto et l'administration du conjugué, prolonge de manière significative la durée de vie dudit médicament sans pratiquement interférer avec son activité pharmacologique. L'invention concerne en outre des conjugués de ladite sonde avec des médicaments contenant un groupe amino ou mercapto, ainsi que les compositions pharmaceutiques et les utilisations de ceux-ci.
