The present invention provides a method and a system for capturing a segment of the least electrode contact noise from an electrocardiogram (ECG) signal. The method comprises: A: capturing an ECG signal; B: filtering the ECG signal; C: nonlinearly converting the filtered ECG signal; D: dividing the filtered ECG signal into a plurality of vectors in the form of a plurality of data points; E: computing, by a first threshold, a first endpoint of a signal segment that is not interfered by the electrode contact noise; F: computing, by a second threshold, a second endpoint of the signal segment that is not interfered by the electrode contact noise according to the first endpoint; G: positioning the signal segment that is not interfered by the electrode contact noise.
