[Problem] To provide a hemostasis aid and a tourniquet which are capable of reliably causing a punctured blood vessel to distend. [Solution] This hemostasis aid 1 comprises: a tourniquet 10 having a plurality of pressurizing layers 11a to 11e divided in the width direction； and a control device 20 for sequentially pressurizing from the pressurizing layer 11a on one end side A in the width direction W to the pressurizing layers 11a to 11e on the other end side B. By winding the tourniquet 10 such that the puncture site is located closer to a patient's distal end than the other end is, this structure reliably causes a puncture site to distend.
