The present invention patent (PI) concerns a high pressure process that couples high pressure extraction with drying the obtained extract where the extraction with pressurized liquid of bioactive compounds occurs more specifically from the leaves of mangabeira and, simultaneously, occurs the drying of extracts containing bioactive compounds via supercritical carbon dioxide. Said process serves to extract, precipitate, dry, purify extracts and concentrate them in bioactive compounds, mainly the phenolic compounds extracted using ethanol and / or pressurized acetone. Said extract obtained has a high potential for biotechnological and pharmacological application due to its phytochemical characteristics, as well as its high content of phenolic compounds, among them the flavonoid class, duly proven. More specifically, this invention reveals the details of obtaining an extract with high biological potential, using a high pressure process, where extraction, drying, purification of extracts and concentration of them in bioactive compounds occur in a coupled manner.
