PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hairdressing agent composition having good application properties to hair.SOLUTION: The above problem is solved by a hairdressing agent composition characterized by being admixed with (A) an oily component which is solid or pasty at 25°C, (B) an ester of a dibasic acid which is liquid at 25°C or an ester of a branched fatty acid which is liquid at 25°C, (C) a sucrose fatty acid ester, (D) a polyhydric alcohol and (E) water and by having a form of an oil-in-water type emulsion.
