PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an eelgrass holder capable of propagating eelgrass through moving and fixing eelgrass into pebbles with a small particle size, a shell layer, sandy soil and silt sand in the sea with an extremely simple eelgrass holding tool. SOLUTION: This eelgrass holder comprises: one U shape lattice-like net (3); a spacer (4) arranged at the net end of the U shape net; and a net stopper set on the net end opposite to the net end at which the spacer is arranged, and holds eelgrass in the space of U shape lattice-like net interval. Furthermore, the eelgrass holder is comprises: two lattice-like nets (3), a spacer (4) arranged at the net end so as to form space between the two nets; a member (6) such as a hinge to connect the net with the spacer; and a net stopper set on the net end opposite to the net end at which the spacer is arranged, and holds eelgrass in the space between the two lattice-like nets.
