A blood pressure detection method and the apparatus therefor, in which the method includes the steps of recording a voice describing the patients state when measuring blood pressure and transmitting blood pressure data and voice data to a network server. The network server transforms the blood pressure data of the patient for a given time period into a blood pressure variation curve based upon a plurality of blood pressure measurements. The blood pressure measurement apparatus preferably includes a blood pressure measurement unit with an air pump, an inflatable cuff and a pressure sensor, and a computer processing unit having a CPU, a memory for data storage, a communication interface and a human-machine interface.
