The Dates Halwa of the present invention prepared through a specific process, which involves a unique set of ingredients and a systematic flow of events. The unique set of ingredients comprising Water(11.778% after evaporation), Maida(0.012%), Sugar(42%), Dates Syrup(32%), Carboxyl Methyl Cellulose(0.08%), Sorbitol(0.05%), Glycerine(0.05%), Calcium Propionate(0.02%), Potassium Sorbate(0.01%), Oil(8%), Ghee(6%).The first step of the preparation process is to soak Maida flour in water for a period of 24 hours. This is followed by extraction of milk from it and adding sugar & water through the pressure cooking mixture. To this mixture, all the required ingredients are added at 40 brix, such as dates syrup, oil, ghee and preservatives. Halwa, now gets discharged when it attains the desired brix level of 77 brix and steam closed. The final product is now transferred to packing, thereby completing the preparation process.
