PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scanning type syringe placement base capable of opening/closing a syringe placement surface without moving a syringe placement part, and facilitate cleaning of the inside of a box by narrowing the width.SOLUTION: A syringe placement surface 17 is opened/closed by moving a lid part 42, with a body part 41 fixed, the body part including the syringe placement surface 17 and an image scanner 19. Further, in an overload state, a lid moving mechanism 50 is separated into a body-side portion 51 and a lid-side portion 52 so as to avoid an excessive impact and facilitate internal cleaning.
