PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pretreatment agent which not only enables uniform application of chemical treatments such as permanent wave-formation and dyeing only by pretreating the hair but also can obtain smooth and soft touch of the hair as if hair treatment is provided after the chemical treatments.SOLUTION: The hair treatment agent contains (A) a tertiary amine, (B) a quaternary ammonium salt, and (C) a higher alcohol and the weight ratio of the higher alcohol based on the total weight of the tertiary amine and the quaternary ammonium salt is in the range of 0.1-1.0 and the pH of the entire treatment agent is not lower than 7.0.COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
