PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide systems and method for delivering therapeutic gas to patients receiving breathing gas from a ventilator that varies the pressure and/or flow using an enhanced therapeutic gas (NO) flow meter.SOLUTION: There is provided a nitric oxide delivery system 100 for delivering therapeutic gas into breathing gas in the inspiratory limb of a patient breathing circuit affiliated with a high frequency ventilator or ventilation techniques which provide reverse and/or oscillations in inspiratory pressure or flow.
