PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a constructing method configured not to interfere with the flow of groundwater when contaminated soil is treated at a place including a groundwater area, and to provide a structure for treating contaminated soil.
SOLUTION: In the structure for treating contaminated soil, a water-passing pipe is installed to pass through insolubilized contaminated soil, or the pipe is installed at the lower part of the insolubilized contaminated soil, and the water-passing pipe is filled with porous concrete. In addition, both ends of the water-passing pipe are opened to groundwater areas which exist outside the insolubilized contaminated soil, and the groundwater flows through the porous concrete in the water-passing pipe. A method for constructing the structure for treating contaminated soil is also provided.
