The present invention relates to an eggshell improver composition, which comprises: montmorillonite； calcium carbonate； and silicon dioxide, wherein the eggshell improver reduces eggshell quality especially cracked rate of eggs produced by maintaining cation exchange capacity of montmorillonite of 3.5 meq per 100g or more, improves the thickness and bursting strength of the eggshell, and increases the development and layer rate of layer chickens.본 발명에 따른 난각 개선제 조성물은 몬모릴로나이트, 탄산칼슘 및 이산화규소를 포함하되, 상기 난각 개선제는 몬모릴로나이트의 염기치환용량(Cation Exchang Capacity)이 3.5 meq/100g 이상을 유지함으로써 생산되는 계란의 난각의 질, 특히 파란율을 감소시키고, 난각의 두께 및 파열강도가 향상되며, 산란계의 발육 및 산란율을 높일 수 있다.
