PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bleaching material composition for teeth which is excellent in safety to human bodies, expresses a high bleaching effect in a short treatment time, and further can be produced inexpensively, and to provide a bleaching method for teeth using the bleaching material composition for teeth.SOLUTION: The bleaching material composition for teeth consisting of oxy-apatite with a photocatalyst effect and a compound which generates hydrogen peroxide in an aqueous solution is prepared. Teeth are bleached by applying the bleaching material composition to color-changed or colored teeth, and subjecting this application part to light irradiation.
