The invention relates to novel methylene furanone derivatives and to the use thereof as a photoprotecting or antioxidant or depigmentation agent in cosmetic or dermatological compositions. The invention also relates to a method for preparing such derivatives that comprises a Suzuki-Myaura coupling reaction from the corresponding dibromofuranone derivatives. The invention further relates to a preparation method that comprises a coupling reaction between 2-methoxy-furane derivatives and a ketone and followed by dehydration.La présente demande concerne de nouveaux dérivés de méthylène furanone ainsi que leur utilisation en tant quagent protecteur, antioxydant, ou dépigmentant dans des compositions à usage cosmétique ou dermatologique. La demande se rapporte aussi à un procédé de préparation de ces dérivés impliquant une réaction de couplage de Suzuki-Myaura à partir des dérivés dibromofuranones correspondants. La demande se rapporte aussi à un procédé de préparation impliquant une réaction de couplage entre des dérivés 2-methoxy-furane avec une cétone et suivie dune déshydratation.
