Through the free holes in the first and second metatarsal bones diaphysis plates, two transverse through canals are formed. Suture threads are drawn in a U-shape through the through channels and plates so that the ends of the threads were extending into the second cut. First metatarsal bone is shifted outwards, setting it into the correct position, being guided by the spatial interrelation of the plates.
