PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide cosmetics and external preparations for skin, safely and efficiently obtainable and containing ingredients (composition) accelerating skin turnover.
SOLUTION: The cosmetics and the external preparations for skin are obtained by preparing a skin turnover accelerator by a method comprising a step crushing amber of a fossil formed by burying the resins of Pinus plants under the ground for a long term and coagulating, and washing with a hydrophobic organic solvent (especially, selected from a group consisting of benzene, hexane and chloroform), a step extracting with a lower alcohol (especially, selected from a group consisting of ethanol, methanol and butanol) and a step for refining by column chromatography. They have improving effects for skin somberness.
