The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for displaying images in a wireless helmet which displays an image in all directions of 360 degrees and an image in a corresponding direction in accordance with a motion of an operator wearing a helmet on an HMD of the helmet worn by the operator in charge of the operation of a tank or an armored vehicle. The apparatus comprises: a wireless helmet worn on the head of an operator to sense a head motion of the operator, request an external image corresponding to the direction of the sensed motion from a battlefield terminal via a wireless network, and receive an external image corresponding to a motion direction corresponding to the request from the battlefield terminal to display the external image； and the battlefield terminal to synthesize an external photographing image for each direction from a plurality of cameras mounted at different positions of the outside such as a tank or an armored vehicle to generate a 360-degree omnidirectional external panoramic image, synthesize target (friendly and foe) information and obstacle information provided remotely in the generated panoramic image to generate an augmented image, and extract only an image corresponding to the requested motion direction from the wireless helmet to transmit the image to the wireless helmet via the wireless network.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2020본 발명은 전차나 장갑차 등의 운용을 담당하는 운용자가 착용하는 헬멧의 HMD에 360도 전 방향의 영상 및 헬멧을 착용한 운용자의 움직임에 따른 해당 방향의 영상을 HMD에 디스플레이하는 무선 헬멧에서의 영상 디스플레이 장치 및 그 방법에 관한 것으로서, 상기 장치는, 운용자의 머리에 착용하여, 운용자의 머리 움직임을 감지하고, 감지된 움직임 방향에 대응하는 외부 영상을 무선 네트워크를 통해 전장 단말기로 요청하고, 상기 요청에 대응하는 움직임 방향에 대응하는 외부 영상을 전장 단말기로부터 수신하여 디스플레이하는 무선 헬멧； 전차나 장갑차 등 외부의 서로 다른 위치에 장착된 다수의 카메라로부터 각 방향에 대한 외부 촬영 영상을 합성하여 360도 전 방향 외부 파노라마 영상을 생성하고, 생성된 파노라마 영상에 원격에서 제공되는 표적(아군 및 적군)정보 및 장애물 정보를 합성하여 증강 영상을 생성하며, 상기 무선 헬멧으로부터 요청된 움직임 방향에 대응하는 영상만을 추출하여 상기 무선 헬멧으로 무선 네트워크를 통해 전송하는 전장 단말기를 포함할 수 있다.
