A compression tape for the semen reservoir in a male contraceptive device is formed by a compression tape applied to the hem of the contraceptive device in order to make it unnecessary for the user to squeeze the end of the reservoir with the finger tips in order to expel air when placing the contraceptive device, and also aid in the placement of the contraceptive device with the correct orientation. As depicted in figures 1 and 2, the invention relates to a male contraceptive device with a protective tape consisting in a tape (1) made of low density polyethylene of 0.02mm thickness, 140mm length, 10mm width, applied to the centre of the contraceptive device during production, and rolled into the ring formed by the hem (2), compressing the semen reservoir (3) and making it unnecessary for the user to contact the reservoir when applying the contractive device, the tape further bearing text indicating the correct application orientation the tape can be of various colours, or bear graphics or messages related to the end purpose of the contraceptive device.Linvention concerne une bande compressive pour réservoir de sperme de préservatif masculin, consistant en une bande compressive appliquée sur la gaine du préservatif de manière à éviter que lutilisateur ne doive appuyer sur lextrémité dudit réservoir avec le bout des doigts afin den extraire lair lors de la mise en place, et à faciliter la mise en place du préservatif du bon côté. Comme illustré dans les figures 1 et 2, linvention concerne un préservatif avec bande protectrice constituée dune bande en polyéthylène de faible densité de 0,02 mm (1), dont les dimensions sont de 140 mm de longueur et de 10 mm de largeur, appliquée au centre du préservatif pendant la production, et senroulant sur lanneau de la gaine (2), comprimant ainsi le réservoir de sperme (3) et évitant que lutilisateur nentre en contact avec ledit réservoir lors de lapplication, cette bande présentant en outre un texte indiquant le bon côté dapplicat
