PURPOSE: A patient monitoring method using the idle time of a wired and wireless gateway or a mobile device and system thereof are provided to prevent the loss of patient monitoring information by comparing order priority between the main function of the mobile device and the monitoring priority of a patient.CONSTITUTION: An idle time function unit checks the operation state of a wired and wireless gateway or a mobile device. An order priority management function unit manages patient monitoring information by allocating order priority to patient monitoring devices. The order priority management function unit allocates and manages order priority between the main function of the mobile device and the monitoring priority of a patient according to a patient monitoring state.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013본 발명은 모바일 디바이스 또는 유/무선 게이트웨이의 Idle Time을 활용함으로써, Power 및 각 디바이스들을 효율적으로 활용할 수 있는 환자 모니터링 시스템이 제공된다. 본 발명은 각각의 환자 모니터링 장치들의 우선순위 및 환자 모니터링 정보 특성에 따른 우선순위를 할당하고, 모바일 디바이스와 유/무선 게이트웨이의 주 기능들의 우선순위를 할당 및 설정하여 관리한다. 이로 인해서 환자 모니터링 정보들의 손실 방지 및 최소 손실 보장을 받을 수 있다. 또한, 본 발명에서는 상기 환자 모니터링 정보들의 손실 방지 및 최소 손실 보장을 하기 위해서, 각 디바이스들의 메모리를 모니터링하고, 각 디바이스들의 환자 모니터링 정보를 저장할 수 있는, 최소/최대 시간을 Min_T/Max_T라고 한다. 이때, Min_T/Max_T를 이용하여, 모바일 디바이스와 유/무선 게이트웨이에서 설정된 우선순위에 따라서 각 디바이스들의 동작을 제어할 수 있다.
