PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscopic hood with a therapeutic light cut filter covering an observation window in which the surface of a therapeutic light cut filter can be cleaned even if the hood is attached to a distal end of the endoscope.SOLUTION: The hood 50 is attached to the distal end portion 16a of the electronic endoscope. In the hood 50, a specific wavelength cut filter 51 for cutting or dimming light of a specific wavelength out of the light reflected in a body cavity is provided on a portion covering the observation window 42. The front surface of the specific wavelength cut filter 51 is cleaned with the air or water supplied from the air and water discharging opening 53. The rear surface of the specific wavelength cut filter 51 is cleaned with air or water supplied from a flow path 60 formed between a flap 55 and the distal end portion 16a. The flap 55 is usually in close contact with the distal end portion 16a, and only when the air or water flows out of the air and water discharging nozzle, the flap 55 is released from the close contact with the distal end portion 16a.
