PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide iron-containing injection formulations which reduce blood hepcidin-25 levels and allow iron to be utilized in vivo smoothly, by suppressing the production of hepcidin-25 which regulates iron metabolism into negative, the iron-containing injection formulations preventing iron excessive accumulation in reticuloendothelial system, suppressing hydroxy radical production associated with iron excessive accumulation, and being able to prevent DNA damage, apoptosis induction, and the like.SOLUTION: The iron-containing injection formulation of the present invention contains an iron compound in an amount that the iron administration amount per day with respect to an adult patient becomes 0.1 to 0.6 mg in terms of an iron element.SELECTED DRAWING: NoneCOPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT【課題】 鉄代謝を負に制御するヘプシジン-25の産生を抑制することによって血中のヘプシジン-25の濃度を低下させて体内での鉄の利用を円滑に行わせると共に、網内系での鉄の過剰蓄積を防いで、鉄の過剰蓄積に伴うヒドロキシラジカルの産生を抑制して、DNAの損傷やアポトーシスの誘導などを防ぐことのできる鉄含有注射製剤の提供。【解決手段】 成人患者1人に対する1日当たりの鉄の投与量が、鉄元素に換算して0.1~0.6mgとなる量で鉄化合物を含有する本発明の鉄含有注射用製剤によって、上記課題が解決される。【選択図】 なし
