PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air purifier having a reduced number of parts, thereby achieving improved assemblability and down-sizing.SOLUTION: An air purifier 10 includes a casing 12 with a space in which a light source 14 is accommodated. The casing 12 includes a first accommodation chamber 26 in which a first auxiliary light source 36 is accommodated and a second accommodation chamber 62 in which a second auxiliary light source 68 is accommodated. The first and second accommodation chambers 26 and 62 and the space are separated with a first and a second partition walls 24 and 50 which can transmit visible light, not transmitting UV rays. The light emitted from the first and second auxiliary light sources 36 and 68 reaches the light source 14 passing through the first and second partition walls 24 and 50, so that the startability of the light source 14 can be improved. Further, UV rays are blocked with the first and the second partition walls 24 and 50, so that the deterioration of the first and the second auxiliary light sources 36 and 68 can be prevented.COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT【課題】空気浄化装置において、部品点数の削減を図ることで組付性の向上を図ると共に小型化を図る。【解決手段】空気浄化装置10は、光源14の収納される空間を有したケーシング12を備え、該ケーシング12には、第1補助光源36の収納される第1収納室26と、第2補助光源68の収納される第2収納室62が形成され、前記第1及び第2収納室26、62と前記空間とが、可視光が透過可能で、且つ、紫外線を透過しない第1及び第2仕切壁24、50によって分離されている。そして、第1及び第2補助光源36、68からの発光光が第1及び第2仕切壁24、50を透過して光源14に到達することで、該光源14の始動性が向上し、しかも、紫外線が第1及び第2仕切壁24、50によって遮断されることで前記第1及び第2補助光源36、68の劣化が防止される。【選択図】図1
