PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector for an endoscope enabling prevention of corrosion of a waterproof cap and deterioration of adhesives by avoiding use of metals or adhesives, in which moisture adhering to a space between a main body having a connection port and a rotating ring or the like does not enter into the connector.
SOLUTION: The connector 15 for an endoscope mounts the waterproof cap 16 on the connection port 20a for the connector having electrical connection member disposed therein in which an O ring 29 providing waterproof characteristics by making close contact with an inner periphery of the connection port 20a and a second seal member 32 providing waterproof characteristics by making close contact with a front face of the rotating ring 21 used for fixing the connector receiving part disposed on an outer periphery of the connection port 20a are provided at the waterproof cap 16. The second seal member 32 is mounted by sandwiching between an A outer cylindrical section 27 and a B outer cylindrical section 28 which are formed from a synthetic resin material, and is mounted by simply press fitting the inner cylindrical section 26 with respect to the B outer cylindrical section 28. By this constitution, the waterproof cap 16 is formed from synthetic resin material and resilient rubber (seal member).
