PURPOSE: A botulinum toxin type A is provided to prevent cross-infection of AIDS and mad cow disease by not adding a stabilizer for maintaining a preservation period and to not be contaminated by excluding the dilution process with physiological saline solution. CONSTITUTION: A botulinum toxin type A is obtained by adding a dextrose solution during the manufacturing step of a conventional botulinum type A, adding and mixing 2-6 ml of 6-12% dextrose solution into 100 unit botulinum toxin type A to make the dextrose solution contact with the inner wall of a container, thereby obtaining preservation period of 12-15 months while maintaining 100% titer of botulinum toxin type A. When using conventional botulinum toxin type A, the botulinum toxin type A is mixed and dissolved into the dextrose solution.본 발명은 보툴리눔 독소의 액상제품 및 보툴리눔 독소의 역가를 보존하는 방법에 관한 것으로서, 보다 상세하게는 덱스트로스 용액을 이용한 보툴리눔 A형 독소의 액상제품에 관한 것이다.본 발명에 따른 보툴리눔 A형 독소의 액상제품은 종래의 보툴리눔 A형 독소 제품과는 달리 보존기간을 유지하기 위하여 알부민이나 젤라틴 등의 안정화제를 첨가하지 않으므로 에이즈, 광우병 등 바이러스 교차 감염의 가능성이 완전히 배제됨은 물론 사용 시 생리식염수로 희석하는 과정이 생략되므로 오염이 없고 역가가 100% 그대로 보존되므로 치료결과가 항상 일정하며, 종래의 액상제품제조에 사용되는 환경호르몬 성분이 없으므로 매우 안전함을 특징으로 한다.
