PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adapter in which an LED and an identification resistance are mounted, the adapter having improved LED heat radiation efficiency while securing an LED mounting area.
SOLUTION: The adapter 6 includes: an adapter body 11 to be removably attached to the distal end of an insertion tube of an endoscope a substrate 13 whose rear surface is fixed to the distal end surface of the adapter body 11 the LED 15 mounted on the front surface of the substrate 13 the identification resistance 19 mounted on the rear surface of the substrate 13 and a probe pin 30 for guiding power to the LED 15 from the side of the insertion part. In the adapter, the probe pin 30 guides the power to the LED 15 via the identification resistance 19.
