The present invention relates to an ultraviolet sterilizing apparatus that is installed on a waterway to sterilize water to be treated by using ultraviolet rays. Energy saving, the elongation of lifetime of ultraviolet lamps and sterilizing efficiency are increased by controlling the turning-on and -off of ultraviolet lamps, which are arranged at regular intervals along the height of the waterway, according to change in the level of water. Also, the ultraviolet sterilizing apparatus can be installed conveniently on various shapes of waterways by arranging a sterilizing module according to the shape of a waterway as a plurality of ultraviolet lamps are modularized in the sterilizing module having an upper frame and a supporting frame. Sterilizing efficiency is increased by changing (flowing backward) the flow of water by a separate blocking plate to the supporting frame at the side of flowing through the ultraviolet lamps and thereby extending irradiation time of the water to be treated being irradiated with ultraviolet rays. Sterilizing efficiency can be maximized by injecting air through an air injection part and thereby changing the flow of water.본 발명은 수로 상에 설치되어 처리대상이 되는 물에 대해 자외선 살균처리를 하는 장치에 관한 것으로, 수로의 높이를 따라 일정 간격으로 배열된 자외선램프의 점등을 수위변동에 따라 제어하여 에너지 절감과 자외선램프의 수명 연장, 살균효율을 증대시키고, 또한 다수의 자외선램프를 상부프레임과 지지프레임을 갖는 살균모듈 내에 모듈화함으로써 수로의 형태에 맞게 상기 살균모듈을 배치하는 것으로 다양한 형태의 수로에도 자외선 살균장치를 간편하게 설치할 수 있으며, 자외선램프를 거쳐 유출되는 측의 지지프레임에 별도의 차단판을 통해 물의 흐름을 변화(역류)시켜 처리대상이 되는 물이 자외선에 피조사되는 피조사시간을 연장시켜 살균 효율을 증대시키고, 공기주입부를 통해 공기를 주입하여 물의 흐름을 변화시킴으로써 살균효율을 극대화할 수 있는 수로형 자외선 살균장치에 관한 것이다.
