PURPOSE: Artificial bed soil using paper mill waste, and a producing method thereof are provided to recycle the organic waste containing environmentally friendly pulp fibers. CONSTITUTION: A producing method of artificial bed soil using paper mill waste comprises the following steps； inserting soil microorganisms into the paper mill waste for fermenting for 10-20 days while changing the temperature at 25-35 deg C and at 50-65 deg C both aerobically and anaerobically(S11)； drying the fermented paper mill waste(S12)； molding the dried paper mill waste, and assorting the waste to have the fixed size(S13)； and mixing the assorted waste with coco peat(14). The water content of the paper mill waste is 55-65%.본 발명은 제지 폐기물을 이용한 원예용 상토 제조방법 및 이로부터 얻은 원예용 상토에 관한 것으로, 상기 방법은 제지 폐기물에 토양 미생물를 첨가하여 발효시키는 단계； 발효된 제지 폐기물을 건조시키는 단계； 건조된 발효 제지 폐기물을 성형하고, 소정 크기를 갖도록 선별하는 단계； 및 선별된 발효 폐기물에 코코피트를 혼합하는 단계；를 포함하며, 이와 같이 제조된 인공상토는 상용되는 상토를 대체하여 사용될 수 있으며, 또한 제지공정 폐기물을 이용한 친환경적 처리기술이다.
