PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detection device and a detection method that can improve the measurement accuracy of the temporal concentration of an analyte, while reducing a burden on a living body due to measurement.SOLUTION: A detection device 10 of the present invention detects a concentration of an analyte by using a fluorescent substance emitting a fluorescent light based on the concentration of the analyte by reacting with the analyte in the living body and receiving an excitation light.
