Injection device comprising a housing a container holder arranged within saidhousing, said container holder being configured for accommodating a medicamentcontainerhaving a needle attached to one end thereof and a stopper sealingly andslidable arrangedinside said medicament container at the other end thereof a first and asecond energyaccumulating member arranged in the interior of the housing of the injectiondevice andadapted to accumulate and store energy a sleeve being slidable arranged inrelation to thehousing a plunger holder arranged for being connectable to the containerholder, said plungerholder being operationally associated with said first energy accumulatingmember such thatdue to an output axial force from said first energy accumulating member, theplunger holderand the container holder are axially moveable in relation to the housing apredetermineddistance towards the proximal end of the injection device from an initialposition to a positionfollowing needle penetration and a plunger rod being arranged with a proximalend thereofcontactable with said stopper and being slidable arranged in relation toplunger holder and tothe container holder, said plunger rod being operationally associated withsaid second energyaccumulating member such that due to an output axial force from said secondenergyaccumulating member the plunger rod is axially moveable in relation to thecontainer holdertowards the proximal end of the injection device from a locked position to apositionfollowing medicament injection, wherein, in the initial position of theplunger holder,movement of the plunger holder towards the proximal end of the injectiondevice issubstantially inhibited by at least one first biasable member interacting withthe plungerholder, the first biasable member recoiling when being overlapped by anopening and/orrecess of the sleeve such that the plunger holder is released.
