PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a preparation technique for improving the bactericidal action of hinokitiol in an oral composition containing hinokitiol.SOLUTION: In an oral composition, the bactericidal action of hinokitiol is significantly improved by incorporating (a) hinokitiol, (b) at least one fluorine compound selected from the group consisting of a fluoride of an alkali metal, fluorophosphoric acid and a salt of fluorophosphoric acid, (c) menthol, and further incorporating 1.25 pts.wt. or more of (b) a fluorine compound and 7.5 pts.wt. or more of (c) menthol based on 1 pt.wt. of (a) hinokitiol.【課題】本発明の目的は、ヒノキチオールを含む口腔用組成物において、ヒノキチオールの殺菌作用を向上させる製剤技術を提供することである。【解決手段】口腔用組成物において、(a)ヒノキチオール、(b)アルカリ金属のフッ化物、フルオロリン酸、及びフルオロリン酸の塩よりなる群から選択される少なくとも１種のフッ素化合物、(c)メントールを含有させ、更に(a)ヒノキチオール１重量部当たり、(b)フッ素化合物を１．２５重量部以上、且つ(c)メントールを７．５重量部以上含有させることによって、ヒノキチオールの殺菌作用が飛躍的に向上する。【選択図】なし
