PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a seal durable to heating during retort processing and easily openable when a food is filled in a container molded of a synthetic resin and is sealed with a lid in a food packaging body.SOLUTION: In the food packaging body, when the food is filled in the container molded of the synthetic resin and this is sealed on the top face of a flange with a lid material, a non-sealed part over the whole grip for opening is formed on the outer peripheral edge of the flange, in such a way that the sealed part within the width of the grip for opening the lid material is durable to heating during the retort processing and is easily openable.COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO【課題】 食品包装体において、合成樹脂の成形容器に食品を充填して蓋材でシールするに当たり、そのシールが、レトルト処理中の加熱に耐えられるとともに、開封が容易にできるようにすることにある。【解決手段】 食品包装体において、合成樹脂の成形容器に対し、食品を充填し、これを蓋材でフランジ上面にシールするに当たり、蓋材の開封用把持部の幅内におけるシール部が、レトルト処理中の加熱に耐えられるとともに、開封が容易であるように、フランジの外周縁部に、開封用把持部の全体にわたる非シール部を形成した構成をとっている。
