The invention relates to medicine, in particular to a method for producing a herbal product with a pronounced antibacterial effect against Helicobacter pylori, which can be used as a substance for the creation of medicines and drugs for the treatment and prevention of Helicobacter pylori - associated diseases. A method is proposed for producing a dry extract of creeping thyme (Thymus serpyllum L.s.I.) growing in Kazakhstan using ultrasonic extraction of plant materials with 70% methyl alcohol, followed by evaporation of the solvent on a rotary evaporator. Dry methanol extract of creeping thyme, obtained using ultrasonic extraction, does not have a mutagenic effect, exhibits additional biological properties: antimicrobial and expectorant. The technical result of the claimed invention is achieved by the fact that the developed method involves double ultrasonic extraction of air-dried raw materials of creeping thyme grass (leaves, flower baskets and thin stems) growing in Kazakhstan, crushed to a size of 2-3 cm, which is carried out with a mixture of methanol: water in a ratio of 7: 3, without soaking, the ratio of raw materials and solvent 1:20 on an ultrasonic cleaner Ultrasonic cleaner Sonic-9 at a frequency of ultrasonic radiation of 40 kHz, at room temperature (20-22 ° C), for 30 min, after ultrasonic treatment, the liquid extracts are filtered, combined and evaporated to dryness on a rotary evaporator, the yield of ultrasonic creeping thyme extract is 14.14% in terms of air-dry raw materials, and it was found that the dry methanol creeping thyme extract obtained using ultrasonic extraction, has a pronounced antibacterial effect against Helicobacter pylori, does not exhibit mutagenic effects, also has additional biological properties: antimicrobial and expectorant m. The proposed method for producing an ultrasonic extract from creeping thyme through the use of ultrasonic extraction is characterized by a high productivity of the process, low consumption of extracta
