PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material for cement which is excellent in hardenability, provided with bioabsorbability, and hardenable without pH variation in hardening, a manufacturing method of the material for cement, and cement excellent in bioabsorbability and compressive strength.
SOLUTION: The material for cement is characterized by containing a powder which has inositol phosphate adsorbed to the surface and which contains tricalcium phosphate as a main component. The manufacturing method of the material for cement is composed of a crushing process for crushing the powder of the tricalcium phosphate and an adsorption process for immersing the powder obtained by the crushing process in the solution of the inositol phosphate and adsorbing the inositol phosphate to the surface of the powder.
