PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a violacein-containing cosmetics etc. which exhibit a pharmacological effect by showing such a useful pharmacological effect upon application of violacein to cosmetics or the like.SOLUTION: The present invention provides cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, and quasi drugs containing violacein and having its anti-acne bacterial action.
