The present invention relates to an agent for suppressing or improving the reduction of loricrin in a keratinized thickened skin layer, an activator of transglutaminase 3, and a promotion of the formation and strengthening of a keratinized layer of keratinized skin, comprising sphingomyelin as an active ingredient. According to the present invention, it is possible to suppress or improve the decrease of loricrin in the skin keratinized keratinized thickened film, and to activate transglutaminase 3 in the keratinized keratinized thickened film. Thus, the formation of the skin keratinized keratinized thickened film can be promoted and the structure can be strengthened.
