Provided is an article provided with a microneedle array with which the distribution of a composition is adjusted with high accuracy. A droplet discharge device (10) of a microneedle-array production device (1) is configured so as to be capable of discharging, into each of a plurality of recesses, droplets of a starting material liquid which respectively correspond to a prescribed amount equal to or less than the volume of each the recesses. A position alignment device (20) is capable of aligning the relative positions of the droplet discharge device (10) and a mould (80) such that the droplets from the droplet discharge device (10) are made to land in each of the recesses. The droplet discharge device (10) discharges a plurality of the droplets into each of the recesses.
