Cardiac catheterization is facilitated by generating first and secondelectroanatomic maps ofa heart of a subject and designating common spatial locations that correspondto first electricalevents on the first electroanatomic map and second electrical events on thesecond electroanatomicmap. The common spatial locations of the first electroanatomic map and thesecond electroanatomicmap are aligned to establish an aligned map, and using the location data onthe aligned mapto guide a probe to a point of interest.
