PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for measuring a pulse rate and oxygen saturation and a measuring apparatus for measuring a pulse rate and oxygen saturation accurately when a period of a noise, caused by body motions of a person to be measured such as exercise, and a frequency of pulses are in agreement or close, and the amplitude is great.SOLUTION: The method for measuring a pulse rate and oxygen saturation during exercise includes a step of separating two kinds of pulse wave signals transmitted through or reflected from a living tissue into a signal component and a noise component, a step of operating frequency spectra of the separated signal component and noise component, a step of determining the presence or absence of the body motions from the frequency spectra of the signal component and noise component, a step of deciding a pulse frequency in accordance with the determined result on the presence or absence of the body motions, a step of operating the pulse rate from the decided pulse frequency, and a step of operating the oxygen saturation from a spectral ratio of two kinds of pulse wave signals corresponding to the decided pulse frequency.COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT【課題】 被測定者の運動等による体動に起因する雑音の周期が一致或いは近接し、その振幅が大きい場合にも、正確に脈拍数及び酸素飽和度の測定が可能な脈拍数及び酸素飽和度測定方法及び測定装置を提供する。【解決手段】 生体組織を透過又は反射した2種類の脈波信号を信号成分と雑音成分に分離するステップと、前記分離された信号成分と雑音成分の周波数スペクトルを演算するステップと、前記信号成分と雑音成分の周波数スペクトルに基づいて、体動の有無を判定するステップと、前記体動の有無の判定結果に応じて、脈拍周波数を決定するステップと前記決定された脈拍周波数から脈拍数を演算するステップと、前記決定された脈拍周波数に対応する前記2種類の脈波信号のスペクトル比から酸素飽和度を演算するステップとを含むことを特徴とする運動時の脈拍数及び酸素飽和度測定方法。【選択図】図4
