PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article which is used comfortably without a sticky feeling.
SOLUTION: The absorbent article 1 is equipped with a front sheet 10 on a skin abutting front side and a back sheet 11 on a skin non-abutting front side and is formed to be vertically long. The front sheet 10 is constituted of a nonwoven fabric which has both rib parts 20 and groove parts 30 extending in the longitudinal direction of the absorbent article 1 alternately and has the amount of fibers more in the rib part 20 substantially, comparing to the groove part 30. In addition, the front sheet 10 has a multi-layer structure having a front layer 10A constituting the skin abutting front and a back layer 10B provided to be the closest to the back sheet 11. The front layer 10A shows lower hydrophilicity than the back layer 10B, is bent to be projected on the skin abutting front side in the rib part 20, and is bent to be recessed on the skin abutting front side in the groove part 30. The constituent fiber on the back layer 10B is mainly aligned in a thickness direction of the back layer 10B.
