PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique which can eliminate the influence of postural change of a subject person during blood pressure measurement.SOLUTION: An ultrasonic blood pressure measurement apparatus 10 measures the blood pressure of a blood vessel by performing transmission of an ultrasonic wave and reception of a reflection wave to/from the blood vessel with an ultrasonic probe. A blood vessel position determination unit 204 determines the position of the blood vessel with respect to the ultrasonic probe on the basis of signals received by the ultrasonic probe.
