PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article which is easy in attachment work and capable of obtaining stable wearing feeling in the absorbent article which can be used while an absorbent pad is attached.SOLUTION: An absorbent article (a paper diaper 1) which can be used while a substantially rectangular absorbent pad P is attached comprises a ventral part 11 and a back side part 12. The ventral part 11 is divided into a first ventral part (a right ventral part 111) and a second ventral part (a left ventral part 112) arranged in a width direction of the ventral part 11. At the end part of the division side of the first ventral part (the right ventral part 111), a first insertion part 41, into which a first corner part P1 of the absorbent pad P can be inserted, is provided. At the end part of the division side of the second ventral part (the left ventral part 112), a second insertion part 42, into which a second corner part P2 of the absorbent pad P can be inserted, is provided.
