PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new antioxidant which has excellent safety and antioxidant activity, and is usable, e.g., as a bleaching agent and an anti-aging agent.SOLUTION: The new antioxidant is provided by using a clear rice fermentation liquid not subjected to activated carbon treatment as an active ingredient. For example, a liquid fraction obtained by removing sake lees from a rice fermentation liquid, thereafter precipitating the lees and removing the lees can be used as the clear rice fermentation liquid not subjected to activated carbon treatment.
