Disclosed is a method of producing milk products, comprising: providing a milking machine located at a milking facility allowing an individual dairy animal access to the milking machine for the purpose of milking milking the animal to produce milk determining cow specific data related to the milk produced processing and packaging the milk to form a processed milk product and marking the processed milk product with an indication of the cow specific data, wherein the data comprises information related to the identity of the animal.
