There is provided a medical device comprising a first blood bag for collection of whole blood from a patient and a second blood bag for separation of a platelet rich plasma (PRP) fraction, wherein； a whole blood inlet is provided at a first end of the first blood bag and a first blood bag outlet is provided at a second end of the first blood bag and a packed cells outlet and a plasma outlet are connected to the first blood bag outlet and a flexible plastic tube connects the plasma outlet to a plasma inlet of the third blood bag.
