PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bulky three-dimensionally shaped nonwoven fabric having a large apparent thickness, and maintaining a good touch essentially possessed by a raw nonwoven fabric.
SOLUTION: A method for producing the three-dimensionally shaped nonwoven fabric 1 includes interposing the raw nonwoven fabric 2 between a first die 11 and a second die 12 having a plurality of uneven parts regularly arranged on the surfaces, and kept in a mutually meshing state under meshing conditions thereof, and three-dimensionally shaping the raw nonwoven fabric 2. The raw nonwoven fabric is three-dimensionally shaped and suction is then carried out from the outer surface of the first die to the interior while sticking the raw nonwoven fabric to the surface of the first die. Thereby, heated air is passed through the three-dimensionally shaped raw nonwoven fabric, and the raw nonwoven fabric is transported.
